About Acer Landscapes
Established in 2004, Acer Landscapes are a family run business that prides itself on a professional and reliable service.
Acer Landscapes can provide a complete garden service whether it be a fortnightly grass cut or complete design and construction of a garden.
We provide garden services for private and commercial customers for both maintenance and construction aspects of the work.
We are based in Retford but cover Doncaster, Bawtry, Lincoln, Worksop, Gainsborough, Newark and the surrounding areas.
We are members of BALI (British association of landscaping industries) and multi award wining Marshalls approved installers.
Our staff are fully trained and have between them all the qualifications and experience needed to provide an excellent service.
Andrew Watkinson - Director
Andrew studied for his National Diploma in Horticulture at De Montford University at Riseholme, near Lincoln for three years and has over twenty years experience in this industry.
Andrew is hands on working on site by day and visiting and quoting in the evenings and weekends. He prides himself on doing a good job, whether this is taking a customer’s ideas and designing their dream garden, providing excellent workmanship using great quality products, giving advise on the best products to use for the effect required or supplying and planting trees, shrubs and plants that will fill the customer’s requirements.
Andrew is a friendly guy but also very professional and loves to do a great job. As long as the kettle is on he will work hard all day alongside his team, to create your dream garden
Kathryn Watkinson - Director
Kathryn has worked within the company since 2008 and in 2016 became a director alongside her husband, Andrew.
Since Kathryn’s involvement, the company has developed by joining Marshalls approved installer scheme, joining BALI (British Association of Landscaping Industries), entering and winning both industry specific awards which demonstrate the teams excellent quality workmanship and business awards that show the business is run well and a good employer to work for.
Kathryn is also very involved in the community being an active member of the parish council and school governing body. Kathryn also wants to develop herself and the business and is always working through courses, attending training and networking.
Kathryn is office based and works from the family home where she is bringing up her three children alongside her husband, Andrew.
